Austin, June 11: Displaying extraordinary skills and exhibiting remarkable prowess, Sweety Sharma, an employee of CONCOR, has succeeded in carving a space on the global sporting map, thus keeping Indian flag high at the international scene. She has garnered accolades for India on the global stage at the World Classic and Equipped Bench Press Championship, conducted in Austin, Texas in USA recently. Competing in the 76 kg weight category within the M2 classification, Ms Sweety secured a notable 5th place amongst participants hailing from 60 nations, totalling nearly 1200 athletes. Her outstanding performance stands as a testament to her unwavering dedication and exceptional skill, elevating her to the status of a national pride. Notably, CONCOR, recognizing Sharma's commendable achievement, facilitated her journey to the prestigious Championship. The CMD of CONCOR, Sanjay Swarup has extended his heartfelt congratulations and felicitated Sharma for her remarkable feat, underscoring her significant contribution to the realm of sports and bringing glory to the nation. It is pertinent to mention here that Sweety apart from being a Bench Press athlete has the distinction of being a former ace cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir. She has the honour of having a galaxy of achievements in her kitty in the cricketing field also.
